Dance of the Waterlily

In the deep cerulean silence of my internalized perception, a sliver of light dances off the surface of a flower petal, and I remember the salt on my tongue that once kept me conscious.
And I breathe in the cold, insatiably, a moment of still agony, before I remember how to wake up.

Rough lighting exercise, Photoshop.
